Hostesses Summer season 2026 | April to September

Our client is a leading hospitality group in Malta, operating a portfolio of well-known franchise and branded restaurants and cafés. These venues are more than just restaurants — they are a stage, bringing together great food, live music, and a high-energy atmosphere in the heart of the island.

We are currently looking for Hostesses to join the team and become the first smile guests see when they walk through the door.

As a Hostess, you are the face of the restaurant. You will welcome guests, manage the flow at the entrance, and help create a strong first impression that sets the tone for the entire visit.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves being at the center of the action within a globally recognized brand.

Your day-to-day

  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from the first moment

  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists to ensure smooth seating operations

  • Escort guests to their tables and hand over seamlessly to the service team

  • Answer basic guest questions about the menu, promotions, and the Hard Rock concept

  • Keep the host stand and entrance area tidy, presentable, and welcoming

  • Coordinate closely with the restaurant and bar teams to maintain steady guest flow during peak hours

  • Provide professional hosting support for VIP and VVIP guests

  • Support event execution in coordination with event managers and the wider team

What you bring

  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role (hostess, receptionist, F&B service, or similar) is an advantage, but not mandatory — we value the right attitude and personality

  • Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, approachable manner

  • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus in a tourist environment)

  • Professional appearance, confidence, and positive energy

  • Ability to work busy shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

  • Team spirit — you enjoy working collaboratively to keep the atmosphere upbeat and well-organized

What’s on offer

Joining Lifestyle Group means joining a large, established hospitality group with clear opportunities for growth. You can expect:

  • A seasonal role in a globally recognized lifestyle brand

  • Accommodation provided

  • Air ticket provided

  • 40 hours per week (overtime paid additionally)

  • A vibrant working environment with music, events, and international guests

  • Training and support from an experienced management team

  • Opportunities to progress within the Group’s outlets and hotels

  • Employee benefits in line with db Group policies (details shared with shortlisted candidates)

  • Monthly net salary: €1,400 – €1,900 (basic salary and service charge) + tips

About our client:

The Group has been involved in hospitality for almost four decades.

Initially starting off as a guesthouse in 1984, operated by the Group’s founder Silvio Debono. Today, as the db group chairman, he sits at the helm of the largest hospitality operation in Malta.

Over the years, they forged strategic relationships with a range of global players in the hospitality and catering industry. Among them are the Accor Hotel Group, RIU Hotels & Resorts, Hard Rock Café International and Starbucks. In the process, the Group has accumulated vital business acumen and operational experience at global level.

Year-on-year, the Group continues to achieve several prestigious international awards, in hospitality and catering, positioning it at the forefront of the Maltese hospitality and leisure industry. This track record has enabled us to establish our very own unique brand, db Hotels + Resorts, driven by the fundamental principle of excellence in everything we do.

In due course, and prudently, the Group diversified its core operations, adding contract catering, healthcare, and property development to its existing market footprints.

Following four decades of significant growth and success in the Maltese islands, in 2022 the Group took the strategic decision to internationalise and further diversify its operations through international investments, opening its first family office in Mayfair, London to spearhead the move.
