Android Developer (Remote)

Location Remote or Banja Luka (BIH)

Our client, and International company, is working in a development of an application that will run on high-end video devices with capability of producing high quality video and sound.

We are looking for Android developer who will be employed Remotely or in Banja Luka, depending of candidates current location and preferences. Selected candidates will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed for Android devices.

Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Location: Remote or Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Minimum required skills:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in development
  2. Java Android
  3. Kotlin
  4. Android SDK

Additional skills:

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Strong knowledge of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

*Expected Net Salary: Negotiable with the employer in final stages of interviews.
